Vice President Kamala Harris secured the winning vote against opponent and former President Donald Trump in her home state. Nonetheless, there were multiple California counties that flipped red for the Republican ticket this election cycle.

It's the first time Trump has topped an opponent in the popular vote​, and only the second time since 1988 that any Republican has done so.
